- 5 / 5By Duncan MawsonWhilst staying at the Serenity Campsite, the Brown Cow became our "local" even though there is a pub closer to the site.
There are two, well kept, varying real ales on draught as well as the standard beers, lagers, ciders, etc. The prices are are also sensible for the real ale - £3.00 a pint. There is also food served between Noon and 9:00pm, and there is a decent selection to choose from - The servings are plentiful, so much so that I never had chance to try the Orange & Drambuie sponge!!!
There is a real friendly feel when you visit the Brown Cow, and you can soon be pulled into a conversation at the bar when ordering your beer.
